Pop Warner Football and Cheer seeks to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children while also emphasizing the importance of academic success. Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status.

This year, Scripps Ranch Pop Warner (SRPW) is honored to announce that 14 of its student-athletes were awarded Pop Warner All-American Scholars. Congratulations to Anthony Cates, Kevin Clark, Robert Day, Jennifer Hom, Grace Johnson, Emma Peterson, Izzy Podmenik, Jackson Rochet, Kara Scott, Taylor Taysom, Dylan Tschirn, Chloe Worley, and Nathan Yoon. A very special congratulations to Robert Day for being named the top football scholar in the West Coast Conference. The Pop Warner Little Scholars All-American Program requires a minimum 96 percent GPA to apply for All-American status and is the only national youth sports organization to require its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before stepping on a football field or cheer track.

We believe that the standards we have set give them a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for balancing academics and athletics that will help them develop throughout their lives.
